Singing Over the Bones is an anthology of poetry, prose and script first published in 2011 as a celebration of the Wigtown Women’s Walk. The Walk had been created by a group of women in Scotland’s National Booktown to remember the contribution of prominent women from the past and highlight others who continue to live in the town. The anthology includes the work of a number of women writers from the region who were inspired by the stories of real and fictional characters that were discovered during the creation of the walk.

The anthology has been reissued by Second Sands Publishing which is part of Foggie Toddle Books in Wigtown. All profit from the sale of this book will be used towards reviving the Wigtown Women’s Walk project.
