The new adventure for Shona the Vet
We’ve just sent our new book away to the printer so we can’t wait for Shona’s new adventure to land back in the shop. Shona the Vet: City Wildlife Rescue is the second wonderful story by author and illustrator Catherine Stables. Her character Shona is a wildlife vet and she travels around Scotland with her wee dog Jock in their red helicopter.
Catherine’s first book, Shona the Vet: A Coast to Coast Adventure was chosen by the charity Futurevets-Scotland to be sent into every primary school in the hope of encouraging young children to consider a future career as a vet.
We’re very excited to see the new book which features a confused otter in Falkirk, a sooty owl in Inverness, a starving fox in Glasgow and a poorly peregrine falcon at Edinburgh Castle.
