The new adventure for Shona the Vet
Two new books from Foggie Toddle!
We are very excited to have just launched the second adventure for Shona the Vet and we’ve also just received our next book from the printer!
For a tiny publishing company and bookshop this has been one of our busiest periods since starting up as Foggie Toddle Books four years ago. We launched Yum by Susi Briggs and Charlotte Brayley at the end of March, Shona the Vet: City Wildlife Rescue by Catherine Stables launched at the end of April and our lovely new book The Highland Cowgirl by Louisa MacDougall and Sarah Lovell will be available from the end of May. Just like buses you wait for ages and then three come along all together! Of course we should also say that we released a special edition of Shona the Vet: A Coast to Coast Adventure in February, created for the charity Future-vets UK who sent the books into every primary school in Scotland.
So just a quick mention for The Highland Cowgirl which is a about a wee girl who lives in the west end of a city but who dreams of the Wild West! With the help of her parents she practises her rodeo skills in the hope that one day she’ll be able to put all her training into action. When her class goes on a school trip to a farm she finds that her dream turns into a nightmare of mud – Yee Splat! But when a Highland calf gets into trouble it may be that Hanna is just the girl to come to the rescue.
All three books are available to order now on our website shop. The Highland Cowgirl will be sent out at the end of May and all pre-orders will also receive a Sheriff badge!
