Maybe it’s the lovely green of our new title but it definitely feels like spring is around the corner. We’re very excited to be launching this new book from Catherine Stables who is a bit of a wonder woman. She’s a working vet but she writes and illustrates these lovely stories and if that’s not enough, she also plays the bagpipes, shows Shetland sheep and weaves baskets – but not at the same time!
Shona the Vet: Farm to Farm will launch at the end of the February but is available to pre-order on this website. This time Shona and her wee dog Jock decide to have a change from their usual wildlife work and instead go to help animals on the farm. There’s some important routine work to do but also two emergencies to attend – a ewe struggling to give birth and a sunburnt pig! As a working vet, Catherin brings her expertise to the stories but also has fun with the situations and characters.
