Intern Lina
We are delighted to welcome Lina Abusamha as a temporary addition to our team. Lina is a student studying publishing at the University of Stirling and she is currently with Foggie Toddle Books to do a remote internship – though we’re hoping she’ll have time to visit Scotland’s National Booktown. Lina is helping with the publishing side of the business and will be supporting the launch of our new book Yum over the next few weeks. She’s certainly proving to be an inspiration.

Sparked by my sunshine, Miryana, who has cerebral palsy and empowered by family, I’ve published seven children’s stories that celebrate differences and spread joy. Back in Jordan, I led community initiatives, earning recognition as a community leader by the FCDO -The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office – to complete my one-year study in the UK. Imagine 7,000 applicants, then picture my surprise at being chosen! Now, I am at the University of Stirling, I’m thrilled to join Foggie Toddle’s passionate team! Being around book-lovers fuels my soul, and I’m excited to blend my real-world experiences with my studies to help create delightful books that ignite a love for reading. Let’s fill the world with bookish smiles and love!
